et une palette chromatique empruntée à l’univers industriel. La perception de l’espace architectural investi est modifiée par la couleur apposée par celui qui se définit comme un « artiste peintre en bâtiment ». L’expérience de la couleur vécue par le visiteur n’est pas seulement appréhendée comme une proposition formelle que chacun pourrait expérimenter et activer. Elle détient également une dimension politique car elle souligne des éléments de l’histoire et de la culture. La galerie de l’artothèque – Salle du Temple dévoilera Mes référents\, des œuvres passées et présentes qui ne cessent d’inspirer l’artiste\, et la manière dont celui-ci procède face à un espace et une situation donnée. issues de la collection de l’artothèque de Vitré Communauté. \nElle a pour sujet la représentation du quotidien\, du XVIIe siècle à nos jours\, autant sous une forme contemplative qu’expérimentale. \nElle questionne le rôle de l’artiste comme témoin d’un monde de son époque\, observateur privilégié de ce qui l’entoure et de ses semblables. Natures mortes\, objets usuels mais aussi scènes de vie ordinaires composent ce parcours qui incite à repenser notre rapport au monde et aux objets environnants. \nSans tenir compte de classements traditionnels (chronologie\, style)\, les œuvres sont présentées par liens analogiques\, rencontres de gestes et de couleurs\, rapprochements de formes ou de lumières.
