En effet céramiste de métier\, depuis 2017 Pablo Savón investit les murs de nos villes de ses céramiques qu’il colle au gré de ses voyages. Faisant le lien entre un art ancestral et le street art\, l’artiste s’intéresse à travers sa démarche à la perception du vandalisme. Est-ce qu’un graffiti réalisé en céramique est plus tolérable qu’un tag traditionnel à l’aérosol ? Est-ce que le fait d’utiliser une technique « noble » au sens de l’art traditionnel par rapport à une technique « vandale » change la vision du public ou des autorités ? Il semblerait que oui\, les tags à côté desquels il s’installe étant effacés alors que ses céramiques perdurent. C’est ce paradoxe que questionne l’artiste. Alors que la démarche est similaire à celle d’un vandale\, le fait d’utiliser de la céramique\, une technique artisanale reconnue et connue de tous\, au lieu de la bombe aérosol change l’image qu’on se fait du geste et le public comme les autorités s’approprient ce travail. Cependant bien que la céramique puisse traverser les âges grâce à sa dureté\, l’exposer dans la rue en expose toute sa fragilité et sa délicatesse préservant par la même le côté éphémère\, composante originelle du street art par les aléas du quotidien. Chaque céramique collée dans la rue est unique. Réalisée de façon traditionnelle et à la main dans son atelier\, ce sont des œuvres à part entière qui requièrent plusieurs jours de travail. Chacune d’entre elles est un moyen pour l’artiste de diffuser auprès du public la richesse de cet art\, que ce soit à travers les différents émaux\, les couleurs\, les textures ou encore les styles historiques de différentes régions et pays.
