Il appuie son travail sur un fond iconographique tiré d’ouvrages et de périodiques publiés au siècle dernier. Dans une esthétique délibérément rétro\, il crée des mises en scènes rieuses et modèle un univers singulier dans lequel l’ordinaire est systématiquement perturbé par l’irrationnel. Avec Peinture Fraîche\, produite pour l’Artothèque de la Médiathèque Benjamin-Rabier\, Guillaume Chiron montre ses dernières œuvres et sélectionne quelques-uns de ses travaux passés.
