DESCRIPTION:« Le titre de cette exposition\, Soudain du calme vint le vent\, emprunte ses mots à un vers du Sonnet de séparation du grand poète brésilien Vinícius de Moraes. Il traduit la tension qui habite l’œuvre de Sandra Rocha : entre calme et tempête\, rupture et transformation.\nComposée d’un univers photographique que l’artiste déploie depuis plusieurs années\, l’exposition explore les liens profonds entre l’humain et le vivant. Nourrie par ses origines insulaires\, sa pratique puise dans la nature\, qu’il s’agisse d’animaux\, de végétaux ou de phénomènes atmosphériques. Si les paysages spectaculaires des Açores\, avec leurs terres volcaniques\, leurs eaux ferrugineuses et leurs fumerolles\, imprègnent son imaginaire\, c’est toujours dans une\nattention aiguë à la fragilité du monde qu’elle inscrit son regard. »\nSoudain du calme vint le vent est présentée du 7 juin 2025 au 30 avril 2026 autour du plan d’eau\nde la Cantache\, avec l’aimable autorisation d’Eaux & Vilaine. \nArtothèque de Vitré Communauté\nUne partie de l’expositions est également à découvrir à l’artothèque de Vitré Communauté\nI Quai des arts du 7 juin au 30 septembre 2025\, 1 rue du Bourg-aux-Moines\, à Vitré. \nCrédit: Sandra Rocha

février 2026\, les Dominicaines marque sa réouverture par une exposition du peintre Tom Nadam. \nLe travail de Tom Nadam mêle peinture et photographie dans des compositions marquées par la tension et l’ambiguïté. À travers des paysages bouleversés\, des figures animales (notamment le chien) ou des fragments de territoires\, il explore une atmosphère de «faux calme»\, où la beauté apparente dissimule une menace latente. Inspiré par les dérèglements climatiques récents\, notamment les feux de forêt\, Tom Nadam donne à voir une nature en colère\, des scènes post-catastrophe\, entre effondrement et résistance.
