intégre sa production plastique. POUVREAU\, Super TERRAIN et Agnès THURNAUER \nLe Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap)\, en partenariat avec l’Association de développement et de recherche sur les artothèques (Adra) présente l’exposition Les temps changent… à L’Artothèque\, Espaces d’art contemporain de Caen\, du 3 février au 6 avril 2024. Cette exposition invite le public à découvrir les œuvres des douze lauréats de la commande nationale d’estampes et témoigne de la singularité de la création contemporaine. \nInitiée en 2023 par le Cnap en partenariat avec l’Adra\, avec le soutien du ministère de la Culture\, la commande Les temps changent… encourage les artistes auteurs des arts visuels à s’emparer de cette proposition sous forme de mantra ou d’injonction relative pour en donner une interprétation visuelle originale. \nLes artistes retenus y répondent en affirmant leur appartenance à l’imaginaire et aux codes de la peinture\, de la photographie ou encore de l’image graphique et en développant des recherches expérimentales. \nComme les précédentes commandes dans le domaine de l’estampe et du multiple\, Quotidien (2018) et Emanata (2021)\, Les temps changent… favorisent des rencontres et des échanges entre artistes et artisans d’art\, reflétant des esthétiques contemporaines qui traduisent une diversité de regards et d’interprétations du visible. \nTirés à 54 exemplaires\, les 12 estampes de la commande constituent un corpus de six cent quarante-huit œuvres réalisées selon différentes techniques d’impression – sérigraphie\, héliogravure\, pochoir\, impression à l’encre thermosensible\, risographie… – par treize ateliers garants de savoir-faire traditionnels qui sont aussi des lieux d’innovation\, répartis sur tout le territoire. \nConservées au sein de la collection du Cnap et de celles des 35 artothèques membres de l’Adra\, ces œuvres contribuent à enrichir un patrimoine vivant. Destinés par essence à être diffusés largement\, ces multiples sont mis à la disposition à la fois des administrations\, des institutions culturelles\, mais aussi des publics\, emprunteurs des artothèques. Cette commande permet de soutenir les créateurs\, artistes et artisans d’art et de diffuser les œuvres dans de nombreux lieux accessibles au public. \nProduite par le Cnap\, une série de cinq vidéos met en lumière plusieurs techniques d’impression convoquées par les artistes auprès d’artisans d’art. Cette série valorise ces métiers d’art et ces savoir-faire d’exception dont certains ateliers sont les derniers détenteurs.
